6 month(s) agoThe technical service at IN Salon was fine, but the manager's behavior at checkout was professional misconduct. I was buying over $280 worth of shampoo and conditioner, and the manager (a Chinese man who didn’t even provide the service) explicitly asked for a tip on those items. I’ve been here before, but I’ve never experienced such an opportunistic attempt to squeeze money out of a customer. It felt like I was being targeted because they thought they could get away with it. Choosing to "scam" a regular customer over a tiny tip is a clear sign of a business that doesn't value its reputation. Very disappointing and short-sighted. I expected better.

3 month(s) agoI came here to get a Japanese hair straightening treatment and the service was great! I’m super happy with my hair and how it turned out. The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The owner even offered me a free touch-up. Definitely recommend and worth the money!

3 month(s) ago(2026-Apr-11) Update: Thank you for your reply, but your response avoids the real issue. Cutting nearly waist-length hair to above the shoulders is not a “trim,” and removing around 30 cm of hair cannot honestly be called a “small adjustment.” My wife clearly asked only for a tiny trim to the ends. Since you are the owner and personally cut her hair, this was not a communication problem — it was a failure to listen. I will not take this private, because consumers deserve to know the truth. (2026-Apr-10)First Post: This was one of the worst salon experiences we have ever had. They completely ignored my wife’s request and cut her long hair far shorter than she asked for. A haircut like this cannot be undone, and the result was extremely upsetting. What made it even worse was that we were still expected to pay for a service that clearly did not respect the customer’s wishes. Very disappointing, very unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable. We will not be coming back.

5 month(s) agoI tried this place out and got my hair cut and permed by Yu. I am now forever loyal to her and this place. She listened to all the details I wanted and delivered. Literally recreated what I had in my mind. Also need to mention she’s so patient, attentive, and easy to talk to. Felt like I was her close friend since the first minute. 10/10

5 month(s) agoUpdate (5 months later): I came back for the same Japanese straightening service after my roots grew out, and once again, Alex did an amazing job. The results are absolutely up to par. My hair is incredibly straight, healthy, and clearly well taken care of. This time, another stylist also worked on my hair (I didn’t catch his name), and he was great as well, very attentive and took the time needed to achieve exactly the results I wanted.I’ll definitely keep coming back. The salon is almost three hours away from where I live, and it is 100% worth the drive. _________________________________ I recently had a Japanese straightening perm done by Alex, and I absolutely loved my experience! Alex was incredibly gentle, took great care of my hair, and really took the time to understand my hair goals before starting. My hair is very thick, long, and naturally curly, and he was able to achieve exactly the results I wanted smooth, sleek, and perfectly straight without damaging it or charging an excessive price. The entire process felt professional and relaxing, and I could tell Alex genuinely cared about both the health and appearance of my hair. I’m beyond satisfied with the results and will definitely keep coming back. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this salon. Highly recommend!
