Bar George never disappoints when it comes to atmosphere and style. Set in a breathtaking heritage mansion, it’s one of those rare places where the décor alone makes you feel like you’re in for something special. On a lively Wednesday night, the vibe was spot on, energetic yet refined, the perfect backdrop for a business meeting or a relaxed evening out. The lobster risotto was rich and perfectly balanced, creamy without being heavy, and full of flavor. The truffle gnocchi followed suit, decadent, aromatic, and indulgent in all the right ways. Paired with a beautiful Italian Chardonnay, the meal hit a perfect note between elegance and comfort. Service was professional and friendly, though a touch more attentiveness would have elevated the experience to perfection. Still, the team delivered with warmth and class throughout the evening. You can’t help but wonder how electric this place must feel on a weekend, given how impressive it is midweek. Between the stunning setting, top-tier food, and refined energy, Bar George is a must-visit in Montreal, a timeless blend of grandeur and modern dining charm.

We go 2 people and got the 3 lunch courses and 2 cafe. The food is great in my opinion, I rarely have Western cuisine but these suit my taste well. The service is also very great, they took good care of the customers. The architecture inside is very beautiful also. The price is compatible to the food, service, and the view. I think people should give it a try for this experience! :-)

Absolutely loved my experience at Bar George! 🍸✨ The place is stunning — elegant, classy, and perfect for a nice night out or special occasion. The atmosphere really gives a luxury vibe. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were top tier. Everything tasted refined and well thought out. Service was impeccable — attentive, professional, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots in Montreal. Highly recommend! 👌

I had the chance to visit Bar George during brunch hours, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The building itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, historic, and captivating. It sets the tone for a memorable dining experience the moment you walk in. The customer service was exceptional; the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and well taken care of, almost like royalty. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. While the portions felt slightly underwhelming considering the price, the overall quality and experience still made it worthwhile. Be sure to make a reservation—this place is very popular, especially with tourists, and fills up quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back again to try their dinner service. Bar George is a really nice spot for lunch or any other meals. I went there recently and overall it was a great experience, especially if you’re looking for a place with a beautiful atmosphere and a bit of a fancy feel without it being too stiff. The restaurant itself is in a really stunning old building, and the interior is honestly the highlight. Lots of wood, high ceilings, and a classic, elegant vibe that makes brunch feel more special than usual. It’s the kind of place where you want to sit back and take your time. The presentation was nice and everything came out looking good. Taste-wise, most things were solid—fresh, well cooked, and enjoyable. The coffee was also good and helped make the whole experience feel relaxed. Service was friendly and professional. Nothing rushed, and the staff checked in just enough without being overbearing.
